For this topic, I would really like to say something about a well-known retail company, called Carrefour. Carrefour is a French international hypermarket chain, with global network outlets. It is the largest hypermarket chain in the world in terms of size, which operates mainly in Europe, China, Brazil and Argentina, but also has branches in North Africa and other parts of Asia.
Actually, Carrefour means “crossroads” in French as its first store opened near a crossroads in a French city. As a company, Carrefour successfully expanded its business worldwide and gained great profit annually. In addition, the products and the service of the company are really widely-known and reputable among the customers.
In my hometown, there are several Carrefour supermarkets, located downtown. I am keen on buying daily necessities in Carrefour supermarkets in my leisure time, especially for some stationary and some snacks there. You can mostly find food, commodities, clothes, books and electrical household appliances. They are all available and credit cards are welcome.
I would say, in most cases, the quality of the goods in Carrefour can be guaranteed and the price is often the lowest among the supermarkets. To be more specific, Carrefour provides a cash-on-delivery service and a 7-day return policy. Within 7 days, for any dissatisfaction, your order can be refundable without any fuss. It is really an amazing place for people to have fun and enjoy a better convenience in life.

Apple have about 46,600 full time employees and 2,800 temporary full time employees worldwide and had worldwide annual sales of $65.23 billion last year. This includes a customer base that is devoted to the company and its brand, particularly in the United States. Fortune(財富) magazine named Apple the most admired company in the United States in 2008, and in the world in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
The company holds many interesting activities. For example, last month Apple held a global activity called “Apple Renew”, which mainly focused on the recycling of components(組件) of products. Customers could send their used machines to Apple retail stores and buy new products in a discount(折扣) price.
To tell the truth, I’m a big Apple fan. It is said that ‘Three apples that changed the world—One seduced Eve, one awakened(喚醒) Newton, the third one was in the hands of Steve Jobs’. The Apple has really brought much convenience to our life, so I am very interested in it and I want to work at Apple if there is a chance.

Customers can return unpleasing products within 10 days and get a brand new one with similar price so that’s the reason why Zalora has great customer base than any competitors. Lately, the company has expanded its chain all over the place. Therefore, customers no longer have to wait for delivered products and can enjoy great service from physical stores.
