Describe a wild animal in your country.
You should say：
what animal it was
what it looked like
where you saw it
and explain what people in your country feel about this animal.
One never tires of watching lovely red-crowned cranes. 優雅的丹頂鶴令人百看不厭。
Red-crowned Crane is snow white with a black neck， black patches on its wings and red on top of its head. It stands almost five feet tall and has long legs. It has a long pointy beak for spearing its prey. 丹頂鶴雪白的身體，有黑色的頸，黑色的翅膀邊緣以及紅色的頭頂。它幾乎5英尺高，有長長的腿。丹頂鶴有一個鋒利的長喙，能夠戳穿食物。
Cranes are regarded as a bird of good luck in China. In Chinese culture， cranes have existed for over 3，000 years. Then there have been a lot of legends and stories about cranes. Red-crowned Crane can live as long as 60 years. So it is the longest-living of all bird species. For centuries， cranes have been revered in China as symbols of longevity. 在中國人心目中，鶴是一種吉祥的鳥。在中國文化中，鶴已經存在了三千多年了。 有不少關于鶴的傳說和典故。丹頂鶴的壽命有六十年，它是鳥類中的壽星。
The image of the Red-crowned Crane can be seen in many places in China. People often draw red crowned crane and pine together. The lifespan of both pines and cranes are very long. So people use them to symbolize longevity. Red-crowned cranes dance the most beautiful dances in the world of birds. While dancing， they half-open their wings， and they jump around and sing for each other. That's why peopele consider crane as elegance. 丹頂鶴的圖案可以在中國很多地方看到。人們經常把丹頂鶴與松樹畫在一起。松樹和仙鶴的壽命都長。所以人們就拿這兩樣東西來象征長壽。丹頂鶴是在鳥類中跳舞最美的。當它們起舞時，半展翅膀跳躍，互相歌唱。這也是為什么人們視它作優雅的象征。
Red-crowned cranes are one of the world's most endangered species. Despite protective laws， poaching continues to remain a problem. 丹頂鶴是世界上瀕臨滅絕的物種之一。盡管有動物保護法存在，但非法狩獵仍然是個問題。

Task：Describe a wild animal you have seen.
Sample answer：
Tiger is a wild animal which is very common in our country. It is the largest animal of the cat species and grow up quite large. It can grow up to 11 feet and can weight more than 300 kg. Tigers generally live about 25 years and they require a large habitat area that supports their prey requirements.
Most of the tigers of the world are found in the widely are across Asia, Turkey and Russia. The most recognizable feature of a tiger is its dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside. They have got a big head and sharp teeth claws. It is a carnival animal that mostly depends on the meat of other animals. The largest number of tigers can be found in India and the total subspecies and the numbers of tigers are decreasing over time. Tigers are good swimmers and are often found crossing rivers and lakes in heavy tides.
Tigers usually hunt alone unlike other animals that prey in group. They first target their prey and aim at it. When the target is fixed, it attacks with a sudden ferocity overpowering the prey with the strength and size. Tigers have great leaping ability and can run very fast.
This formidable large wild animal is getting extinct over time and they have become numbered in the world. Approximately only 3500 tigers are present in the world and the number is decreasing. Many tigers are held in the zoo for public and they usually live on supplied meat.
In my opinion, since human is superior to any other living species, we have a responsibility to prevent the extinction of the tiger as we are the primary reason for their extinction. Wild animals are part of the eco-system we live in an we have a natural responsibility to preserve a balanced eco-system for our own good.

Sample answer:
The south China tiger is one of the endangered and rather precious species of carnivores in China. It is well acknowledged that they are as valuable as the pandas, due to their only presence in China all over the world.
The reason why people call them the south China tiger is because they live in south of China. Most of them were living in the mountains and forests in Hunan,Fujian,Guangdong,Henan and Shanxi Province. Technically, you could find them in the forest land and wild area where wild boar,buffalo and many kinds of deer were abundant. However,from 1950s,people began to hunt them,which caused huge declining.
Although the government set laws to protect them,the illegal hunting was continued.So,now I'm very sad to tell you that many experts believed that south China tiger has been extinct in the wild area.
There are only about 100 south China tigers living in several zoos and breed base places. All of them are feeding by people,which is a tragedy coz they are wild animals. But we don't have other choice,we have to protect them,they are going to die out.
In the past time,many animal photographers are devoted in taking photos of south China tigers. Thanks to them,we now have many valuable pictures when they were living in the wild area.

Elephant
大象是考生所熟悉的東西，首先題目要求說我們國家的動物，我們可以說 “Asian elephant”, 大象是世界上最大的哺乳動物, Asian elephants are the largest land animals on Earth. 大象的外貌描述- big, long and flexible noses, large and flapping ears, and loose and wrinkly skin. 特征的描述; Intelligent, strong and sociable. 棲息地的介紹, their habitats are forests, plains, and woods. 發出聲音和彼此交流， make different sounds to communicate with each other.
關于大象我們可以說到象牙是非常值錢的，所以很多大象為此被捕殺, Because ivory is so valuable to some humans, many elephants have been killed for their tusks. 現在來說數量比較少So the population remain endangered.
Panda
棲息地的介紹—熊貓的棲息地在偏遠的山區，有很高的竹林。Wild pandas live only in remote, mountainous regions in central China where there are high and cool bamboo forests.
外貌的描述- The giant panda, a black-and white bear, has a body of typical of bears. It has black fur on ears, eye patches, legs and shoulders. The rest of the animals coat is white.
雖然很可愛，但和其他動物一樣危險—Many people find these chunky animals to be cute, but they are as dangerous as any other bear.
現狀- There are only about 1000 Giant pandas left in the wild. Perhaps 100 live in the zoo, where they are always among the most popular attractions.
另外動物題目還出現在第一部分的題目中，例如 “ Did you visit a zoo when you were a child?” 可以利用以上的素材介紹一下在動物園看到的動物，例如大象 “Elephant: they are very big animals and have a long memory, and a very long nose called a trunk.
