As is displayed in the flow chart, the recycling process of glass is really a complex one.
The overall process can be categorized into 3 stages. First, glass products in various forms are gathered in the Collection point,
so that they are easily transported by special trucks or vans to the Cleaning plant, where they get sterilization by high-pressured water.
There are three different channels in the Recycling plant, namely Brown, Green and Clear, which represent the colors of glass.
After recycled in the furnace ,glass products are melted into recycled liquid glass.
Mixed with new liquid glass, the compound is finally moulded into solid glass, which, afterwards will be sent to various customer supermarkets for selling.
Thus, the glass will go to the customers for different purposes.
Through a brief introduction of the circle of glass recycling, we come to realize that recycling plays a vital role in environmental protection and ecological preservation.

Since the discovery of tobacco related to a number of health problems, an increasing number of people have called for prohibiting smoking. It is undeniable that still a considerable amount of smokers exist in this world. I would like to examine the advantages and disadvantages of smoking cigarettes as following and then offer my own opinion.

There are some advantages to taking tobacco.(topic sentence) First, tobacco industry contributes a great proportion of revenue to the nation. Extremely high taxation imposed on tobacco yielding and cigarette manufacturing has released the financial burden for both the government and the individual taxpayer generation by generation. Second, the soothing effects of smoking has been confirmed by ordinary smokers; particularly those who have hard-brain-working jobs are in favor of it; they claim that smoking cigarettes can make them calm and stimulate brain cells to work more efficiently. Finally, cigarettes play an important role in social activities.

On the other hand, smoking demonstrates numerous negative effects.(topic sentence) Initially, nicotine may bring takers a number of diseases. Second-hand smoking also does harm to your health. Moreover, hatred from non-smokers always grow against smokers hence some conflicts arise frequently. We then look at the statistics showing that thousands of fire accidents worldwide occur each year due to the litter of non-extinguished cigarette ends, not to mention the related deaths and losses. Last but not least, expenses have to be taken into consideration. Fine cigarettes are not cheap. If you get addicted to them, your daily amount of cigarette consumption will increase inevitably, emptying your pocket money.

After all, so far no direct evidence has been provided that smoking can definitely result in takers' death of lung cancer, and those fire accidents are the result of carelessness or irresponsibility of the smokers, not tobacco to be laid blames. Also, spending pocket money can never be considered as a financial burden. In addition, I suggest more restricted smoking areas be planned so as not to violate non-smokers' rights. After weighing the pros and cons of using tobacco, I, for one, am against the act to ban smoking.

Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country or individual people to address. In other word, we have reached the stage that environmental problems be solved for international view. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In recent years, many nations have become more aware of the environmental issues each nation faces, such as air and water pollution. The question is, are the environmental issues a national problem or an international problem? It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of becoming an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve.
Because of the differences in environmental policies, resources and technology, international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology. By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems, the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed. Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole.
One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection. In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed, the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international commission elected by the participating nations of the world. All members must agree to abide by the standards established.
The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world. The impact is long term and international in scope. Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole, depletion of the ozone layer, water pollution, air polution, etc., the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation, not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems.
As part of the same planet, it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment. Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment.
