found的用法
1. 表示“找到”，其后可接雙賓語;若雙賓語交換位置用介詞 for引出間接賓語。如：
Can you find me a hotel?=Can you find a hotel for me? 你能給我找一家旅館嗎?
We found him a good job.=We found a good job for him. 我們為他找了份好工作。
比較下面一句(found 后為復合賓語)：
We found him a good teacher. (=We found that he was a good teacher.) 我們發現他是位好老師。
2. 表示“發現”時，其后可接各種形式的復合結構：
(1) 賓語+名詞作賓語補足語。如：
You’ll find it a difficult book. 你會發現它是一本難懂的書。
有時可在賓語補足語前加上to be。如：
You’ll find it to be a difficult book. 你會發現它是一本難懂的書。
(2) 賓語+形容詞作賓語補足語。如：
He found the room empty. 他發現房間是空的。
I found the book easy. 我覺得這書讀起來比較容易。
有時可在賓語補足語前加上to be。如：

3. 其后有時可接 that 從句。如：

后接 that 從句時，只要句型適合且不影響原意，有時可轉換成復合結構，如上面的前面兩句可轉換為：

但是，上面的最后兩句不適合這種轉換，因為從句中用了情態動詞或完成時態。
4. 用于 find oneself, 主要用法：
(1) 后接賓語補足語，含有出乎意料的意味，表示(突然)發現自己處于某種狀態或來到某地方。如：
He woke up and found himself in hospital. 他醒來時發現自己在醫院里。
He returned to England to find himself famous. 他回到英國，發現自己竟出了名。
(2) 表示發現自己的真實能力、性格、愿望等。如：
Mary tried several jobs but at last found herself as a teacher. 瑪麗試做了幾種工作，但最后發現自己還是適合于當老師。
(3) 指某人身體方面的自我感覺。如：
How do you find yourself today? 今天你覺得身體怎樣?
