　　My hometown is Mount Lushan. Have you ever been there? Mount Lushan is very famous for its beautiful scenery, excellent climate and long history.

　　Mount Lushan stands on the south bank of the Changjiang River and the north bank of the Poyang Lake. It has many nice scenic spots, such as the Flower Path,the Five-Old-Man Peak, the Three-Step Waterfalls and so on. Thousands of people from other parts of China and foreign countries come here every year, especially in summer.Summeron Mount Lushan is very cool. It can‘ be called a huge natural air-conditioner in summer; Winter here is nice, too. Heavy snow falls every year. There is a popular saying: "Mount Lushan in summer is green like a clear fountain, and in winter is white like a white jade."

　　I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

　　It is surprising that high school students‘ hair style should become a controversial subjects. As a matter of fact, this is not a serious problem, because in my opinion high school students should not in the first place spend too much time on hair care. Time is money. The most important thing for high school students to keep in mind is to do well in school and be well prepared for the college entrance examinations. Since the admission rate of college aspirants is low, high school students should make more of an effort to prepare for it. Furthermore, the period of restricted hair length is only from junior to senior high school; if the junior high school students find nothing wrong with their hair style, why should the senior high school students take exception to it? So my conclusion is this: though it is right for the concerned authorities to relax the restrictions imposed on high schoolers‘ hair style in a reasonable way, the students themselves should also realize that their hair style is nothing important, that when they are graduated such restrictions on their hair will automatically become null and void. Although I am a college student now, my memory of my high school days is still fresh. As a high school student I did not care about my hair style; on the contrary, I was thankful to the uniform hair style because I could thus save much time as well as money in paying less attention to my hair. In a word, there is really no need to bother about one‘s hair, especially if you are just a student. If one‘s hair is compared to a tree and one‘s period of education to a river, then we can see that the tree will keep growing new leaves while the river, if it ever flows, will never flow back. Youth is itself a kind of beauty, an asset, so I don‘t think a student‘s hair will in any way detract from this beauty.

　　It was Army Day. Our class visited a signal company of the Donghai Sea fleet.In the morning we started out very early. As soon as we got there, we were warmly received. That isn‘t bad, is it? Finally, the language is beautiful. Readers find it an enjoyment to read her stories.Maybe, the school authority and teachers are afraid that in Qiong Yao‘s stories there is something unhealthy which may affect the minds of the students. But then we are old enough to deal with it properly.

　　I suggest that the Communist Youth League Branch hold discussions to guide young students along the correct way to growth ideologically.
