Spring Festival was my favorite Chinese festival when I was a child. At that time, I had a great time. Every year at that time I could dress new clothes, get lucky money from relatives and seldom receive criticism from my mother. Everything seems such wonderful. However, as I grow up, I find Spring Festival is less and less interesting. I just feel that as usual. What’s worse, with the fireworks, I find Spring Festival is a noisy festival. So I don’t like it any more.
在我還是個孩子的時候春節是我最喜歡的中國節日。那時候，我過得很開心。每一年那個時我都可以穿新衣服，從親戚那里得到壓歲錢而且很少被媽媽批評。所有的事情好像是那么的美好。然而，隨著我的成長，我越來越覺得春節已變得無趣。我只是覺得它就像平時一樣。而且，我覺得因為煙花爆竹，春節變成了一個嘈雜的節日。所以我不再喜歡它了。

When I came to school this morning, I found an Oxford Dictionary, which is the sixth printing on the ground of school gate. I was afraid it would be demaged if nobody piched it up. And I stood there for a while seeing no one intended to pick it up. Therefore, I took it to my dormitory. The dictionary is brand new. It has a note in the middle of the book where I saw a poem----Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again written in Chinese on the paper.
我早上去學校的時候，我在學校門口發現一本第六版的牛津字典。我擔心如果沒有人來認領，那本書會弄壞。我在那里站了一會兒見沒有人想要把它撿起來。所以，我就把它拿給我的宿舍了。那本字典是全新的。在字典里面我看到一張箯筏，箯筏上寫著一首中文詩——再別康橋。

After school, I head to the supermarket which is not far from my home. Yes, you are right! I intend to cook a simple meal for my mother. It takes me an hour and a half to cook two dishes and a soup. It is not until my mom comes back that I finish my cooking. There is a sweet smile on her face. At that moment, there’s nothing could be better than her smile. Everything I do is worthy. With an air of warmth, I say, ''Mom, Happy Women's Day.'' Then she smiles.
放學后，我去了離家不遠的超市。是啊，你猜對了。我想為媽媽做一頓簡單的飯菜。我花了一個半小時，煮了兩菜一湯。我媽媽回來前，我就煮好了。她臉上露出了甜美的微笑。在那一刻，沒有什么能比她的微笑更美好的了。我所做的一切都是值得的。在溫暖的氣氛中，我說，' '媽媽，婦女節快樂。”然后她微笑了。
