Classmate conflicts among senior middle school students are often heard on campus over recent years. These conflicts make the excitement of campus life grow grey and have bad effects on both their living and learning.
Classmate conflicts often arise from(因…引起) daily tiny things such as space where to store books or notes. When personalities don’t mix(個性不合), the specifics can tear classmates apart (使..拆開)and
sometimes even lead to serious conflicts. Besides, the fact that classmates hold different attitudes towards certain issues is another factor causing these conflicts.
Classmate conflicts are harmful and need to be settled. Though many people think that schooldiscipline(紀律) can soften(化解) the conflicts, I believe learning to be tolerant with(容忍)each other can play a more constructive(有幫助的) role because it teaches students flexibility(靈活) and the art of compromise(折中). Meanwhile, communication contributes to the solution tothis problem since many of these conflicts result from misunderstanding.

It is universally acknowledged (廣泛認為) that people cannot succeed or achieve their targets without a strong will and persistence (堅持). One of the most typical examples is that in the present-day society, a growing number of people fail to quit smoking just because of their poor willpower during the process. A variety of factors may account for (是…的原因, 對…作出解釋)this phenomenon as follows.
For one thing, no one can deny the fact that persistence is the key point in accomplishing one’s task. It is of great importance for people to stick to their original aim(堅持最初的目標). A number of people would stop smoking for a couple of days after they have made their determination(下決心), but only a few of them may succeed in the end. For another, the people who cannot quit smoking may easily be affected by his circumstance and surroundings. In that case, people tend to fail to resist various temptations (傾向于不能抵制各種誘惑) around them.
So we may safely come to the conclusion that (可靠地得出這個結論)only by concentrating on the object and by strong self-discipline(自律) can we obtain our goals successfully in the future.
