　　表示主觀上選優。主句表示喜歡做的事(主句常用would, prefer, like等)，從句則表示不喜歡做的事。謂語用不帶to的不定式，強調強烈的取舍欲望，譯作：“寧可……決不……”。從句多位于主句前。

　　Rather than travel by air, I'd prefer a week on a big liner.
