一、while作名詞用，表示“一會兒”“一段時間”

二、While作連詞(1)引導時間狀語

四.while，when，as的用法區別

句型A：be about to do…when…正要做…這時(發生另一事)
句型B：was/were doing…when…正在…這時(發生另一事)
句型C：had done…when…剛要做…這時(發生另一事)

2.He had hardly sat down when his mobile rang.
