有關投保問題郵件1：文體介紹
在運輸過程中，貨物可能會遭到損害、丟失或偷竊。買方或賣方為了在遭受損失后得到補償，都事先根據具體情況向保險公司投保，辦理貨物的運輸保險。投保費用(保險費)由買賣雙方在合同中確定。投保人按保險金額、險別及保險費率向承保人(保險公司)支付保險費、領取保險單或保險憑證。
對于FOB 和CIF的交易，裝運完畢后，賣方應馬上向買方發出運送通知，以便買方能及時對貨物進行保險。對于CIF的交易，習慣上由賣方按發票金額的110%投保一切險(綜合險)。
就對外貿易而言，保險單上投保的險別有：
S.R.C.C (Stikes, Riots, Civil Commotions) 罷工，暴力，民變險
War Risk 戰爭險
Extraneous Risks附加險
ON Deck Risk 艙面險
