　　had better 是一個(gè)固定搭配,相當(dāng)于一個(gè)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞。不能用have代替had,因?yàn)樗且环N固定搭配.

　　you had better go to school now.你現(xiàn)在最好去上學(xué).

　　It's half past two. I think we had better go home

　　He’d better go with us, hadn’t he? 他最好同我們一塊去，對(duì)嗎?

　　可接進(jìn)行式、被動(dòng)式或完成式。如：

　　一、Had better意為“最好”，后接不帶to的不定式。如：

　　3.— Wouldn't you rather stay here?

　　— No,I would not. I'd rather go there.

　　由于would rather表選擇，因而后可接than。如：

　　1.I would rather work on a farm than in a factory.

　　2.I would rather watch TV than go to see the film.

　　4.I'd rather you didn't talk about this to anyone. (句中的'd rather不是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞，would在此是表愿望的實(shí)義動(dòng)詞)
