　　第一：明白考試在考什么

　　在大作文當中，考生需要展示四種能力，即解決問題(solve problems)的能力，證明自己觀點(opinion)的能力，對比(comparison)的能力和反駁的能力。而這四種能力在文章中都是有具體的體現的。如證明自己觀點的能力通常在主體段的第一部分(the first part)，一般來說，你要提出三個不同角度的(different angles)分論點。例如談論老師在教學中的優勢(advantage)，你可以說監督作用，彈性和情感(emotion)連接。這三條理由(reason)是在不同的層面。如果你說彈性，針對性，和個性化教學(teaching)，就是在同一角度看問題，因為這三條是一個意思(meaning)。

　　第二：明白考試的評分標準

　　它是對以上四個能力的等級(level)考量。這不僅僅是雅思老師備課的內容(content)，考生也應該充分的理解(understanding)，才能有的放矢，獲得理想的成績。
