Advertisements appear everywhere in modern society. There are many way to advertise and ads come in different forms. Newspapers and billboards carry advertisements; some products are announced on TV and radio which have a wide audience.
Advertising is a big industry and many agencies are set up for furnish a variety of services for it.
However, advertising is not welcome sometimes. A most irritating thing is to watch advertisements before and during films on TV. There are so many of them that they make you forget what you are sitting there for. The ironical thing is that advertisements of one type of things are often shown one after another so that you are confused as to which product you should choose.What's more, advertising is not always truthful. The advertisers exaggerate the benefits of the merchandise they want to sell in order to gain more profits. Thus the consumers fall victim to such advertising.
Although there are disadvantages of ads, we can not forget the advantages and the conveniences they bring to us. First, by telling us where something is available, they may save us money and time. They guide us in finding suitable jobs and other information as well. Secondly, a wide range of activities and institutions receive financial support through advertising. Without this support we would have to pay much more for newspapers and sports games. Thirdly, perfect advertisements even provide entertainment. A considerable amount of effort goes into their production. So in most cases the photography is truly artistic, the slogans are genuinely witty, and the situations are decidedly funny.
Generally speaking, advertisements have become one of the most authoritative voices speaking to us today. Let us make our life easier by learning to choose proper ads, and be the master of advertisements, not their salve.

Advertisements can be seen everywhere in modern society. They appear on the TV screen. They occupy a conspicuous place in newspapers and magazines. They are displayed or painted on walls and even on buses. Indeed, it is difficult nowadays to find a public place without advertisements.
It is true that in economic activities advertisements play an important role. They tell people about new products and help promote sales. Unfortunately some of the advertisements are not true. They cheat consumers one way or another. So, admitting that advertisements can help us, we should also beware of them from time to time.
Nowadays ther are a lot of false advertisements in society. They have caused many harms to society. Generally, their harms can be listed as follows.
First, they exaggerate the functions of the goods they advertise and mislead consumers. Second , some advertisements contain obscene contents and bring about spiritual pollution. Third, they seriously damage the credit of businesses because the shops which sell those goods will be distrusted and even considered the conspirators of those advertisers by consumers.
Personally, I am usually vigilant against any advertisements and so I have never been taken in. However, some people are credulous and are easily taken in. Therefore, in my opinion, effective measures must be taken to ban false advertisements and protect consumers’ interests. First, all the advertisements must be strictly censored by the authorities concerned before they are published. Besides, severe punishment must be inflicted on those who publish illegal advertisements.

First of all, advertising provides clear goods information to us. When we walk into the supermarket, we will see dazzling commodities. It is common that we don’t know what to choose as we don’t have a better understanding about them. At that time, advertisement can offer help for us. We can choose a product according to its advertisement, because every advertisement will show the best part for that product. Even though we don’t know the commodities well, but we can have a little understanding about it. In the other words, advertisement plays the role as assistance when we are buying things.
Secondly, advertisement also gives a chance for many people to find a job. The ad is everywhere around us. So it must need many people to work for it. In the competition society, it is a good opportunity for us to solve the difficulty of employment. Without advertising industry, there are many people will lose their jobs?
To sum up, it is my point about the advantages of advertising. We should make full use of it in our daily life and occupation.

Today, when we see the movie, we can a lot of advertisements are implanted into the movies, the audience feels angry about it, because they don’t want to see these advertisements, they buy the tickets for seeing the good movie, while the producers are agreed to put the ads into the movie, both the audience and producers have their reasons.
今天，當我們看電影的時候，可以看到很多廣告被植入到電影里，觀眾對此很生氣，因為他們不想要看到廣告，他們買票是為了看到好的電影，然而制片人卻同意把廣告放進電影里，觀眾和制片人都有他們的理由。
For the audience, they hate to see the advertisements in the movie, because they think the advertisements have nothing to do with the plots, they don’t want to see the extra factors. What’s more, people get tired of the ads, because the ads are exaggerating and try to persuade people to buy the products. After seeing these advertisements all the time, people feel tired.
對于觀眾來說，他們討厭看到廣告在電影里，因為他們覺得廣告和電影劇情沒有聯系，他們不想要看到電影的額外因素。而且，人們厭倦了電影，因為電影夸大事實，嘗試著說服人們去買產品。在看了廣告那么長的時間后，人們真的厭倦了。
While for the producers, they argue that it is reasonable for the advertisements to be showed in the movie, these ads do not affect the plot, they need the sponsors to give the money, so they can have enough money to make the movie.
然而對于制片人來講，他們辯論說廣告出現在電影里是合理的，這些廣告并不影響劇情，他們也需要贊助商來投資錢，這樣他們才有足夠的錢來制作電影。
In my opinion, advertisements should not be showed in the movie, they ruin the sense of beauty in the movie, people have the right to enjoy the pure movie.
