考研英語寫作作文：如何解決交通堵塞問題
With the fantastic spur both in industry and in economy, the traffic problems in urban areas are becoming increasingly serious. This makes traffic jams a common encounter for many people. It certainly causes much inconvenience and waste of time in daily life.
To tackle the problems posed by traffic development, as far as I am concerned, it has much to be improved to keep pace with the advanced development of the city. To begin with, the government should put more investment in building more roads to accelerate the flow of traffic, and therefore it can relieve the heavy traffic flow on the streets. In addition, more routes of buses should be opened up, in this way, the number of bikes and cars on the street will be reduced. Furthermore, more underground passageways or flyovers should be built so that pedestrians can cross streets safely, and both traffic accidents and congestion can be avoided.
Taking into account all the above methods, we may safely say that urban traffic problems will be solved completely. On the one hand, municipal building department improves its functions, and fulfill whatever it could. On
the other hand, citizens should make a good understanding about traffic regulations and abide by it consciously. 范文精譯：

由上可知，我們很容易看出城市交通問題將會得到徹底解決，一方面市政建設(shè)部門完善它的職能，盡職盡責(zé);另一方面，市民很好地理解交通規(guī)則并能自覺遵守它。

2005 “CYU CUP” English Speech Contest will be held on Saturday, July 12 in classroom 201 of the main teaching building under the auspices of the Students’ Union. Those who wish to participate, please enroll your names before this Sunday. Several distinguished professors from the foreign language teaching and researching center of our university have been invited to work as judges. The first two winners will be recommended to take part in the 2005 “CCTV CUP” English Speech Contest on behalf of our university, which is the first English Speech Contest annually popular among students in this university.
