Today I did a good thing and received praise. I was very happy. When I passed the playground, I found an exercise book on the ground. I picked it up and found it was my classmate’s. So, I brought it to her, when she was crazy finding her exercise book. She was very excited and thankful having her exercise book again. She said thanks to me and said I was a little Lei Feng.

Everyone's heart have a hero,maybe a person who save the people,maybe a animal who have got good spirit. So far,I can't forget a person who helped plenty of people.His name is Leifeng.I think he was a good person I can't understand why he was so friendly,but I really know,he was a hero in my heart.I looked up upon him.and I will do all things I can do,I want to be the 2nd Leifeng.

Lei Feng (December 18, 1940 - August 15, 1962) was a example of the soldier of the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China.
雷鋒(1940年12月18日-1962年8月15日),被中華人民共和國政府樹立為中國人民解放軍的模范.
LeiFeng,formerly named Lei Zhengxing, was born in a poor farmer's family in Dec 18 1940 in Jianjia Tang Disctrict,Wangcheng Town, Changsha City of Hunan Province. Lei was orphaned at 7 years old. He became a member in the Communist youth corps when he was young and joined a transportation unit of the People's Liberation Army at the age of twenty.
雷鋒,原名雷正興, 1940年12月18日,雷鋒出生在湖南省長沙望城縣簡家塘一個貧苦農民家里.雷鋒7歲成為孤兒.雷鋒加入了中國共產主義青年團,20歲被分到人民解放軍運輸連.
Lei died in 1962 at the age of 22, when a telephone pole, struck by an army truck, hit him while he was directing the truck in backing up.
1962年,雷鋒在指揮軍車倒車期間,遭電線桿子擊中而逝世,年僅22歲.
After Lei's death, his diary was published, and Lei was built up as a good example to the Chinese people to be cheerfully selfless and noble in thought.

On March 5, the anniversary day, many volunteers took part in various social commonweal activities at their spare-time.
