這時媽媽走過來和氣地說：“爸爸最近工作忙，你要乖，不要打擾他。”她又轉過臉去對爸爸說：“這不，所里領導都叫你休息，今天不讓你到單位去了，你卻把書拿回來看，再忙也要注意自己的身體呀!”看，這就是我媽媽，在這個家里她永遠都是那么的好脾氣。
爸爸長長的吐了一口氣說：“咱們一起努力，做出貢獻好不好?”我吃驚地問“我嗎?”“對呀!我在看書，你不打擾我，這也是貢獻呀!”爸爸笑著說。這也是我的貢獻，我真高興，差點笑出來。我不再糾纏爸爸了，悄悄地給爸爸倒了一杯水，放在了他的桌子上。
這個星期天，爸爸就這樣，又看，又寫，又算，直到晚上我睡覺的時候，墻上還掛著他的身影……
這個星期天我雖然沒去劃船，可是我卻很快樂，因為我陪爸爸做貢獻了。
