What you can discover about the roots of your family is not likely to make headlines, but maybe crucial in building a family tree that can be both interesting and surprising. Trying to searcha family history is a positive attitude toward something that you learn from and grow from it.Good or bad, one thing is sure: you cannot erase the past.
Some people are actually not interested to know their family roots. The thought of finding outhow they end up where they are at the moment simply does not intrigue them enough. Theythink it is useless to get whatever information leading to who were they related to--great,great grand-parents, and great, great grand uncles and aunties. Hence, it seems thatembarking on a project to create a family tree is not unlike digging the graves of the once-upon-a-time family members. Besides, they are convinced that there is nothing exciting orworthwhile about any serious research on family histories. This point of view is somehowunderstandable, considering the effort might turn out to be futile going through muchtrouble in vain to gather details about folks in ancient blood line long since buried and gone.

To begin with, the habitat of flora and fauna has been losing ground, although it is not knownexactly how many species of animals and plants have been killed off or wiped out on earth sincethe Industrial Revolution. And how many more are disappearing at an alarming rate. Untilrecently few thought that human actions could affect the world's ecosystem on a globalscale. It is as if anything that humans touch is doomed. These days many are more sure thatsuch actions are occurring, and that this problem is so big that no government can tacklealone. Gradually, the public is beginning to worry that the worse is yet to come. Some fear that if littleor nothing is done in time to prevent the disaster from happening , humankind as speciesmight be doomed as well. Such is at least the view held by quite a few scientists andenvironmentalists who call for severe sanctions, or else. Others, however, believe that the caseis not hopeless. The good news is that there is an increasing awareness of the great dangerhuman beings are in.
