Dear mom and dad,
It has been two weeks since I last wrote to you. I am so sorry that I don't write you very often.
However, I have been busy with my preparation
for the final exams. As you know, I'm coming home on Jan.14th. But before that, I have to take the final exams for all six classes I'm taking this semester. Recently I have been in and out of the library a lot to do some research on the term paper for one of the classes. Most professors gave out the review problems already so that the students can study for the final. I think I'm doing okay studying for the final.
Besides reviewing materials, I'm also planning to host the New Year party of my department. You know there are so many talented people in my Communications major, but they picked me to host the party! Great, isn't it?

What is the difference between regular mails and e-mails?As we know, regular mails have been usded for thousands of years,it is very inconvenience,for it took a long time to receive. Besides, it costs you some money. While e-mails is very convenience, it take you only a few seconds to arrive the receiver and it is free to send .so more and more people use e-mails rather than regular mails.Some people think that it will be replace the regular mails.
In my opinion, the email will be more and more popular in the future, but it can not replace the regular mails because it can not send everything though it is very convenience to send letters.But,except letters,we sometimes want to sent other thingsto our friends which e-mails is impossible to send.
So we can draw an conclution that emails can not replace regular mails.People will use email to sent letter and use the regular to send other things.

Happiness is the most precious thing in the world, which can be obtained in different ways.
From my point of view, being in a good mood anytime and anywhere is the first thing for those who want to be happy. There is an old saying going like this, "happy is he who is content." I can't agree with it any more. I still remember a story my mother told me when I was a child. A millionaire tried every means to seek after pleasure but to feel unhappy. It's not unique, but has its counterpart that poor men to whose name not having a thing always feel happy. Why are they so different? The answer is that the rich is being thinking how he can gain more while the poor is satisfied with what he owns at hand-health, freedom, love and so on.
Furthermore, love makes great difference to happiness. If you have love in your heart, you will have happiness in your life. Love consists of two parts, one is to love others, and the other is to be loved by others. Lei Feng set a good example for all of us. He served the people wholeheartedly until the last minute of his life. He regarded serving the people as the happiest thing. There are numbers of similar inspirational stories to be found. In addition, being loved by others can also lead you to happiness. Courage from your parents when frustrated, care from your lover when ill, help from your friends when in trouble… all of these will make you the happiest person in the world.
The last but not least is to act happily. Putting on a happy face and thinking interesting things are helpful to trigger happy feelings.
Wile happiness is precious, it is easy to get.

In the world, there always have something difference. I’ll say something different from American and Chinese. J
At first, let’s say something about our faces. We have the black eyes, black hair and we have the yellow. But the Americans have the blue eyes; white faces and their hair have a lot of color. So, we have something different from us in color. J
You see the different is very clearness. But always, the different are very important. For example, the people like brave man in American. Because they think that is very great, but in Chinese, people don't like that. We don’t think that is very good. Long ago, Mao sue was very braved like the foreigners. He told the other people he is very good. At first, people didn't believe him. The people thought he is pride. So, that’s our difference in thought. J
We have the difference in reality, too. We aren't as rich as American; we don't have so many land everyone like American; they don’t have as many people as we have; we don't enjoy someone’s behavior in that country, arrogance and ruthlessness. Maybe they don’t enjoy some of our behavior, too. J
We also have something different in marry. If you want to got married. In China, you must listen to your parents’ idea, you can never use you self’s idea. Or, your parents will be very angry. But, you can use your self’s idea in America.So, there are many young people, they love each other, but they can’t got married in China. They just can get married in American or other country. Now is better than the before, but American never happen like that I think.J

All of us are familiar with the exams. Maybe some of you may feel nervous or may be horrible when you hear that there will be an examination tomorrow. These days, I was stuck in the exams, too.
I have taken two “big” exams during the past two weeks and I will have an important on this Sunday. Maybe all of us do not like exams. So do I, I think the exams are just like troubles. If I fail in the exams, my parents will scold on me. But if I get a good mark, I will start to worry about the next exam: I cannot miss the next exam… This vicious circle will go on…
Yeah, I do not mean the exams are devoid of any merit, but in this examing city. The exams are not for examing our study, there are too many “win” or “lose” in the exams. So all of us are scared by the exams…
