　　讓座 Offer the Seat to Others

　　Every time when I get on the bus, I won't choose to sit down in the first row, because these seats are often offered to the old and sick people. So as a teenager, sometimes I feel guilty to sit down. In the last decades, we had been educated to let the old and sick people to sit down in the bus. It was the tradition to respect the old in China. But from the news, we have witnessed some old people are rude. They thought it was their privilege to have the seat, so when they weren't offered the seat in the bus, they blamed the young people. Actually, it is the young people's choice to decide whether they want to offer the seat or not. The old people should be gratitude and be nice to the one who help them.

　　Last week, I took part in the summer camp. The school invited some foreign students to visit and to communicate with us. It was such a good chance for me to practise English with them. What’s more, I could learn difference culture. At first, I was so nervous, but the next day, I got familiar with these friends and I found that they were also very curious about our study. After the short communication, I learned a lot. I knew the first thing I should do was to improve my English. I realized the foreign friends had learned mandarin and they paid special attention to master it. So if I didn’t learn English well, in the future, I would lag behind them. The second thing for me to learn was to develop more interest. The foreign friends could talk about any topic, and I admired them. I can improve myself and to be the best one.

　　My father likes to collect stamps. He has collected more than one hundred stamps. I also like to form the habit to collect things, but mine is different from my father's. I like to keep the travel map after I take a visit of a city. These maps are very interesting, who are showed by all kinds of funny pictures, so it is easy to be understood. I was bad at geography before, so when I went to a new place, I would lose my direction. But since my parents took me to travel, I got some funny travel maps from local hotels.
