我的舞臺 My Stage
I was a shy girl and I never dared to make performance in the public, but everything will have the exception. Last week, our English teacher gave us a job. All students needed to make performance in group. I was chosen to be the protagonist in my team. At first, I told them that I couldn’t make it, but they believed that I was the suitable person. So I practised hard and tried to get over my fear. It was my stage. I stood in front of my classmates. With my teammates, I finished my job. I felt so cool and dared to face so many people.
我是一個害羞的女孩，我從來不敢在公眾面前表演，但凡事都有例外。上周，我們英語老師給了我們一個任務——所有的學生都要組成小組進行表演。我被選為我們團隊的主角，一開始我告訴他們我做不到，但他們認為我是合適的人選。所以我努力練習，努力克服恐懼。那是我的舞臺，我站在同學面前，和隊友一起，我完成了我的工作。我覺得自己很酷，敢于面對這么多人。

銀杏樹 Ginkgo Tree
When I was very small, I lived in my hometown with my grandparents. It was the best time of my life. There was a ginkgo tree in front of my house. My grandparents planted it many years ago. So the tree also grew up with me. It was tall and sometimes I would climb up the tree and looked around the scenery. I enjoyed the time when I was on the tree. Now I move to another city with my parents, but I miss the ginkgo tree all the time. So when the holiday comes, I will go back to my hometown and to see if the ginkgo tree has grown taller.

建議書 Proposal
There is a street near my house. The traffic light there has broken for more than half a year and the local government hasn't sent anyone to fix. Every day, people go across the street among the cars. It is very dangerous. I read the news about a child wrote a letter to the government and the official replied, so I thought maybe I could have a try. I wrote a proposal, asking the officials to send some people to fix the traffic light for people’s safety. Then a week later, I was so surprised to see the traffic light worked. I was so happy. I don't know whether my proposal works, but I am so proud of myself.
我家附近有一條街，街上的紅綠燈已經壞了半年多了，當地政府還沒有派人去修。每天，人們都是在車輛中穿越馬路的，這是非常危險的。我看到過一則新聞，說的是一個孩子給政府寫了一封信，工作人員給予了回復，所以我想也許我也可以試試。我寫了一份建議書，希望政府派人來修理交通信號燈以保證人們的安全。一個星期后，我很驚訝地看到交通燈已經恢復正常了，我很高興。我不知道我的建議是否起了作用，但我為自己感到驕傲。
