　　Li Min is our monitor. She is tall, healthy and lively. She does well in all subjects. She is fond of sports and is good at singing and dancing.

 

　　Li Min works hard at English. When she came to the school, she had quite a lot of difficulties with the language. But she was not afraid of them and always tried hard to overcome them. She was active in class and did a lot of practice after class. No pains, no gains. With great efforts she made much progress in English study.

 

　　Li Min is modest and always ready to help others. She is very strict with herself in her work and daily life. She sets us all a fine example.

　　Internet is now coming into our life. It brings us not only a lot of convenience, happiness but also troubles. Some students use Internet as a tool. They look up the meanings of the words, the information of a famous person and so on. They also read news or send e-mails through it. On the other hand, some students plays, chat with friends, see the pictures or films even the unhealthy ones on the Internet. They are not interested in their study. I think we should make good use of it and stay away from the unhealthy websites.

　　As a middle school student of junior three, I do sports one or two hours a day, such as doing morning exercises, playing basketball, long-distance running and so on. .I think it is very helpful to me. Taking exercise makes me healthier so that I won’t be ill very often. What’s more, I also get myself relaxed in different kinds of sports, and then I do the better job in my study in high spirits. By doing physical exercise, I’m becoming stronger and more confident than before. I think it is necessary for everyone to spend some time on sports every day.

　　As we all know, our parents have done much for us since we were born. When we are ill, they spend all their time taking care of us till we get well. Wherever we go, they worry about us. What do you think we should do to pay back to our parents?

 

　　Firstly, let’s try to find chances to have good talks with our parents when we are free. When we were young, we spent lots of time together. All of us felt so happy then. However, it’s said that parents today feel lonely. They are busy doing their work every day, while we are always at school. So it’s important for us to communicate with them. Maybe they will feel much happier after the talks. Don’t you think so?

 

　　Secondly, doing housework at home seems to be a great chance to show our love. To do some housework can share our parents’ work. They must be happy when we say, “Have a rest, and I will do the housework.”

 

　　Finally, we are supposed to have a good future. The harder we work, the better results we’ll have. If we succeed, they’ll be proud of us.

 

　　In short, if we put our hearts into it, love is always around our parents!

　　What Should We Do in English Class

 

　　范文：In English class, we should listen to the teacher carefully and take notes when necessary. Try to answer questions in English.

 

　　We should take part in all kinds of activities, like reading, writing, having discussions and playing games. We need to work in groups with our classmates to help each other and learn from each other.

 

　　It’s important to be confident. Speak English loudly in front of the class and never be afraid of making mistakes. In this way, we can make much progress.

　　I am the monitor of Class 3, Grade3, No.22Middle School. Recently I have made a survey of the students in my class on ways to relax after class. There are 60 students in my class(31 boys and 29 girls ).Different students have different ways to relax. Half of the students often watch TV.12students like to play computer games while 8 enjoy listening to music.5 students think doing sports is a good way and another five are busy to relax.

 

　　(As we study too long every day and suffer from too much pressure, every student should choose proper ways to relax. In my opinion, watching TV or playing computer games is not a proper way to help us relax.)I thing taking exercise is a proper way because it can rest our brains and eyes. Besides, It can help improve our health.(Therefore, I often Play Ping-Pong after class. It’s really helpful to both my health and my study.)

 

　　Ⅶ.

 

　　Last week I went to mount Emei in Sichuan province with my family. Early in the morning, we took a taxi to Beijing West Railway Station. The station was very lively.

 

　　Half an hour later, we got on the train. On the train, we had a lot of fun. After 26 hours, we reached Sichuan. There, we took many photos and had a good time. 5 days later, we came back to Beijing. Even though my travel seemed really short, but my memory of the pleasant trip will last long.
