This picture tells us the attitude of some people towards safety problems. Since they have the one-sided view towards the safety problems, they ignore these problems in our real life. They are just like the blind men in the story of "The Blind Men and the Elephant." In fact, safety problems are everywhere around us.
So the picture shows some people are much worried about their safety problems. But they do not think about the problems in a wise way. They do not want to work out some effective ways to solve these problems. They just only care about their own problems blindly. But, in fact, what they are doing is very dangerous to their safety because, as the picture tells us, coconuts on the coconut tree may fall down anytime and hurt them.
In my opinion, they are very near-sighted and their behavior is foolish. We should take everything into account when we are thinking and doing. We should learn how to analyze the concrete problems in a concrete way. At the same time, we should do something to make our environment safe and sound. When something bad happens, we should take some effective measures to reduce the harm or damage to the minimum. Also we should launch some campaigns to raise people's awareness to safety. We should make some laws to protect people and their property from the harm and loss.

Both the traffic accident rate and mortality rank first in the world whose victims are mainly children, adolescents and the elderly. This a a cruel fact. How can we make the roads safer? Remember the following rules.
When you ride a bike or walk in the street, keep yourself in the right side of the road. Don’t cross the road or turn left at a red traffic light. Give a sinal when you want to cross the road or stop. Before corssing the road, stop and look at your right and left sides, making sure that there is no car passing by. Additionally, our government should make more severe traffic rules and punitive measures. Some drivers always violate the traffic rules, which is the main cause to traffic accidents. Therefore, our governmet should play a more important role in preventing traffic accidents.

Campus security and safety is a big issue and has become a focus in education, especially when tragic events happened time and time again on carnfms. The recent stampede at a middle school in Hunan Province is still fresh in our memory. It took the lives of eight teenagers and injured 26 others.
The tragic events served as a wake-up call. It warns that3 to safeguard the students, there is still much to be done. Schools across the country should take safety education seriously and conduct it compulsorily. Besides, they should revise their emergency preparedness plans and tighten security. For example, security guards should patrol on campus aro^md teaching buildings and student dorms, and enforce strict entrance checks, barring entry to anyone carrying a gun or s. knife.
As students, we should enhance our awareness of safety — that is, being aware of safety issues and of potential hazards in our daily life. For example, foresee the possible incidents and keep away from crowded places. Lock the dorm at night or whenever we are alone in the dorm. If possible, we should also have some first-aid trainings in order to help us survive emergency situations.
