As for me, I stand for the second idea. I make out my case as follows： In the first place, while it is true that opportunities are rare , it doesn't mean that opportunities are rare. Weak men wait for opportunities; strong men make them. Admittedly, opportunities will not come to you easily , but this is not to say that we shouldn't make full use of them when they come . In fact, "opportunity is a chance". However, as the saying goes, "Chance only favors the mind which is prepared." So you should try to study hard and well and develop your ability by richening your inner world. Chance will be subordinate only to a willing man, because "nothing is impossible to a willing heart."
Therefore, from above reasons, you can understand why I agree with the second idea.
