My New Neighborhood
I live in a new neighborhood now. My family moved here last year. From then on more and more people became our neighbors. A big supermarket and more than twenty different shops have been setup since last year. An underground nearby is under construction. It seems that our life gets more and more convenient. It is said that many tall buildings nearby will be put up. It is reported that a new park in the north of our neighborhood will be built soon. What a green and nice neighborhood it will be!

A new teaching building has been set up in our school. It is in the north of the school. It has six floors. On the first floor, there are three science labs. We can do all kinds of experiments here. We often have English classes in the sound labs on the second floor. On the fifth floor there is a big reading room and three computer rooms. We can learn to operate computers every day. The reading room opens from Monday to Friday. By the way, behind the building there is a botanical garden.

Australia lies on the west of the Pacific Ocean. It covers an area of 7.6 million square kilometers. It has a population of over10 million. Most of them live in the east of the country by the sea. Canberra, the capital of Australia, is a beautiful city. Sydney is one of the biggest cities in Australia. It has many places of interest. The Sydney Opera House is famous all over the world.
