英語周記 第十一周(I like rainbow)
I like rainbow
I wonder if there is any girl or boy who does not like to see a rainbow in the sky. It is so beautiful!
There is a fairy tale saying whenever you see a rainbow you should run at once to the place where it touches the ground, and there you would find a pot of gold. Of course, it is not true. Neither could you find the pot of the gold, nor could you ever find the rainbow’s end. No matter how far you run, it always seems at a great distance.
A rainbow is not a thing which we can feel with our hands as we can feel a flower. It is not solid, for it is only the effect of light shining on raindrops. The light from the sun shines on the rain as it falls to the earth. The raindrops catch the sunlight and break it up into all the wonderful colors which we see. It is called a rainbow because it is made up of raindrops and looks like a bow.

Samoyed, my honey.
I raise a Samoyed named GeGe. It's a lively and naughty small white dog. It has a pair of lovely ears. It will wag its tail when meeting you. I walk the dog for half an hour and twice everyday. It will be happy when meeting other dogs in my residence community. A Scottish Shepherd is getting well with my dog. And it has a speciality that it is bigger than other dogs. Especially, there is only a head left after barberring it. And the people meet it will stop to take a look at it. I love my dog very much. For I'm always alone in my house, only my dog can keep my company. I like watching films downloaded in my computer with my dog. Sometimes, it will be frightened if I do not hold my dog when I see the scary movies.

Better food, better life
In current society, people have known the importance of keeping healthy. In the past, people ate three meals at home, and they eat more vegetables and less meat and fish. They were very strong and seldom went to see doctors.
Now life is better, people eat more meat, fish, eggs, and other food with more fat. They often go out for good meals with their families and friends. But they easy to be ill, why?
I think more meat and fish, less exercise are bad for health. Good rest, less meat and fish, more exercise are good for health. So I exercise every day. My eating habits are pretty good. I eat a lot of vegetables. I eat fruit and drink milk every day. And I sleep nine hours every day.
