Once there was a fool who was bald.
Some came along and hit his head with pears several times. Although the assaults caused the fool to bleed, he quietly tolerated it and made no attempt to protect himself.
Someone who witnessed the incident asked, "Why didn't you run away? Instead you stood still and let him hit you until your head bleeds."
The fool replied, "That man is swollen(浮腫的，浮夸的) with his strength, but he's quite foolish. When he saw my head is without hair, he thought it were a piece of rock. So he hit me with the pears. Bruising(擦傷) my head, that's all there is to it."
But the other man pointed out, "It's you who are a fool and yet you claim he is foolish. If you weren't so foolish, you wouldn't be hit by him and you wouldn't have had your head bruised and still not run away."

當時有一個人，用梨打他的頭，打了兩三次，每一次都把他的頭打得受傷、破裂。這個愚人默默忍受，不知要躲避逃開。
旁邊的人看見了，就對他說：“你為什么不躲開呢?竟然一動不動地挨打，以至于頭都被打破了。”
愚人回答說：“像他那樣的人，驕橫傲慢，不過是憑借力氣而已，實際上他很愚蠢，沒有一點智慧，看見我頭上沒有毛發，便以為是石頭，所以就用梨來打我，于是我的頭才破成這個樣子。”
旁人說道：“你自己很愚蠢，為什么反而說他愚蠢呢?怎么會被他打得頭都破了，卻不知道躲開。”

People argue which is the best way for reading news, in my opinion, there is no best way, different people choose different manner.

Reading news online is fast and paying for free. Most young people get used to it, they use the computer every day, so that they count on the computer to receive the all kinds of information. Reading the newspaper is troublesome, they don’t like to hold the paper, it is not convenient.
在網上看新聞快速且不用錢。大部分年輕人習慣這個方式，他們每天使用電腦，因此他們依賴電腦來接收各種信息。看報紙很麻煩，他們不喜歡拿著報紙，很不方便。
While still many people like to read on the newspaper. Especially the old generation, before the popularity of computer, they read the news from the newspaper, they get used to this manner, even the computer is convenient, they just like to keep this habit.

People should learn to give up sometimes. Parents think study is very important, so they ask their kids to insist to learn and go to college. But the fact is that not all the kids are good at study, some kids are not interested in study, they are good at other things. Parents should not push their children to go to college, the kids can learn the things they are good at, like cooking, amending cars and so on. Going to college is not the only way to be successful, learning the practical skills also makes them successful.
有時候人們應該學著去放棄。父母認為學習是很重要的，因此他們要求孩子堅持學習，直到上大學。但是事實上，并不是所有的孩子擅長學習，一些孩子對學習不感興趣，他們擅長別的東西。父母不應該逼迫孩子上大學，孩子可以學習他們擅長的東西，比如烹飪，修汽車等等。上大學并不是成功的唯一出路，學會使用的技巧同樣也能成功。
People must know clearly what they are insisting, if they keep the right direction, they should insist, but if they keep the wrong direction, they need to give up and open another new chapter of their lives.
人們必須清楚知道他們堅持的是什么，如果他們保持的是對的方向，他們應該堅持下去，但是如果他們走的是錯誤的方向，他們需要放棄，展開人生的新篇章。
