In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
忽必烈在上都頒了一道昭書：
A stately pleasure dome decree：
建一座堂皇奢華的歡樂宮。
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
這地方有圣河亞佛流奔，
Through caverns measureless to man
那宮殿多洞穴難測其底。
Down to a sunless sea.
那河流流到海深暗蒙迷。
So twice five miles of fertile ground
那皇宮占土地方圓十里，
With walls and towers were girdled round：

And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills
