I met a girl called Sue on the Intemet.We are of the same age.And we talked happily with each other. So we decided to write to each other daily, of course through e-mail.We can write down what we feel and what we think and then forward to each other.We also try to write in English. She once lived in the United States with her parents, so she can speak native English.In this way, we are getting closer and closer. And furthermore both of our English has improved quickly and greatly.How nice it is to have a "pen pal" !
我在網上認識了一個叫蘇的女孩。我們的年齡差不多，很談得來，所以就約好天天通信聯系，當然是用電子郵件了。我們把自己一天的生活和所感所想記錄下來，然后發給對方看，就像寫日記一樣。我們還試著用英文通信，她曾經跟爸爸媽媽在美國呆過幾年，所以能講純正的英語。這樣，不但我們的友誼越來越深了，而且我們的英語水平和寫作能力也有了很大的提高。有這樣個“筆友”真好!

The first day of high school life, I have some thoughts and feelings. The passage of time can always give people some special things.
在高中生活的第一天，我有一些想法和感受。隨著時間的推移總是可以給人一些特別的東西。
In the new environment, I feel a bit excited. Be able to recognize the new students and teachers is my greatest gains. In the next three years, we will learn、work and progress together to make our dreams come true. I will have new friends, and share the joy and sadness with them. The process of learning is also a growing process.
在新的環境，我感到有點興奮。能夠識別新的學生和教師是我的收獲。在未來3年，我們將共同學習，工作，進步，使我們的夢想成真。我也會有新朋友，并分享他們的喜悅和悲傷。學習也是一個成長的過程。
Similarly, I will also face many difficulties. I might have difficulties in learning and getting along with classmates , bearing some pressure in life. However, I will get stronger and get through every step of high school three years.

I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation. We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Wall's history. They thanked us a lot and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese.
我和我的朋友在夏令營期間去了長城，我們是乘汽車去的，經過兩個小時才到的那兒。那天天氣很熱，風也很大，那里有很多很多的人，當我們看到一群外國人的時候，我們上去和他們攀談。我們告訴他們很多關于長城的故事，他們非常驚訝我們的英語是如此的好，而且我們還懂那么多關于長城的故事。他們非常感謝我們，而我們也度過了愉快的一天。我們為自己是一名中國人而感到很自豪。

It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.
