Pollution: An Increasing Concern in China
It is reported that ten big cities in China are being ranked among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.
Many factors are contributing to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the widespread use of plastic bags etc.
To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without permission should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. What's more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense of environmental consciousness into people's mind.
If everybody works toward a common goal of making the environment better, we can create a cleaner and lovelier world for us and for the coming generation.

A real test in My life
When I was a ten-year-old girl, I was once asked to deliver a speech titled "A real Test in My Life". to talk before the whole class! Just imagine! That will be a “real test to me, then so terribly shy as to tremble at the mere thought of uttering any word with so many eyes set upon me.
I had no other choice, though. First was to draft the speech. This just a piece of cake to me; I was a good writer----something to pride myself in. the hard part lied with my oral presentation; to read from the paper was not allowed; I had to give the speech from my memory and in front of such a big audience! A real trial began when I stood on the platform, my mind blank and my legs trembling. Somewhere from that corner came some giggling or what. My eyes became dim and I vaguely sensed some cool dripping down my face. How much time had passed by, I didn't know. My audiences were still waiting, patiently and without signs of rushing me. Gradually found myself back, stammering out my speech. Finally I finished. After what seemed to be a hundred years, I found my audience applauding. I made it!
From then on, my fear for talking before an audience disappeared. Actually with my confidence building up, I now turn to be a great speaker. Looking back, I know the greatest obstacle on our way to success is our fear; overcome it and let our potential out, and we will make to our goals.

What We Should Do in the Face of Difficulties
When we are faced with difficulties，don't complain. Instead，we should try our best to pull ourselves through. As we all know, everyone will meet trouble in the daily life. How to overcome the trouble successfully is a question which is worth considering.
First and foremost, we should be full of confidence in ourselves. Anyone will experience tough times and failures. Some people have no confidence in themselves, they dare not face the trouble. On the contrary, others choose to face them bravely. Of course, the result is completely different ： the former will fail and the latter may succeed. So when times are tough, please remember to hold up your courage and smile. Furthermore, we must keep calm, analyzing the cause of failure, which is closely related to the coming success. Last but not the least, persistence also plays an important role because sometimes the tough times are long. We should be patient and never give up, as the success would come sooner or later.
Generally speaking, when we feel helpless, our confidence and our persistence will surely help us go through the most difficult time. Tomorrow will be a fine day if we smile at everything.
