Honesty means speaking the truth and being fair and upright in act. He who lies and cheats is dishonest; those who gain fortunes not by hard labour but by other means is dishonest.
Honesty is a good virtue. If you are honest all the time,you'll be trusted and respected by others. A liar is always looked down upon and regarded as a black sheep by the people around. Once you lie, people will never believe you even if you speak the truth.
However, in the tide of commodity economy today, it seems that more and more people believe in money at the sacrifice of honesty. To them, among such things as health, beauty, money, intelligence, honesty, reputation and talent, honesty is the only thing that can be erased away. They don't understand or pretend not to understand that honesty is the biggest fortune human beings own, and that it is the prerequisite for doing everything well. I think these people areto be pitied.
In short, honesty is gold. Honest, your reputation will become great;dishonest, your name will be spoiled and your personality degraded. Therefore, we should never make such an excuse as "A little dishonesty is only a trifle thing. We should eradicate immediately the seed of dishonesty once it is sowed in our minds.

Not far away from the New Year, my mother suddenly remembered to make zongzi for Chinese New Year. So mom and I packed dumplings together, ready for a moment.
In the afternoon, my mother went to buy some of the dumplings. Mother first put glutinous rice and meat in a big basin, pour some salt, soy sauce, old wine inside, begin to make dumplings. My mother taught me how to do it first, and then I began to get impatient, and I started working on myself.
I took two of the leaves and tried to surround them, but I couldn't get around. At present most students are under too much pressure. So am I. My spare time is filled with school homework and extra lessons. So I hardly have time to do other activities. Though studying hard is important I realize it is not enough for our happy lives. So I decide to have some changes.
First I will spend some time running around the playground after school instead of doing homework at once. It will relax myself and keep me in a clear mind while doing my homework. Next I’m going to join an art club. Drawing pictures makes me keep calm and painting is also my hobby. Then I’m going to study with my friends at home on Friday nights. It’s a good chance for us to learn from each other and improve our skills.
There are many ways to change myself. I will choose the ones that are suitable for me. I think with these changes my life will be happier.
