I still remember that thing a few years later and feel afraid. It happened on my way to play. It was Sunday. I would like to Maggie’s home for a visit. However, when I passed a river, I saw three children at my age playing in the river. How happy they were! At that time, I had a idea that I would like to ask Maggie to go swimming with me in the river. Suddenly, something scare happened. One the three chiledren slipped and the other two wanted to help him. Unfortunately, all of them were struggling. I was shock. And then I rushed to the river bank immediately. However, I saw nothing but the peaceful river. I knew what happened. I was frightened. A few hours later I heard the death of them. I was so frightened and sad that I have never go never any river since then.

I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the most important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it. Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoyment during the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shopping with my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then, it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. My parents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinner was so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and I visited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out for fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is coming to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderful winter holiday.

One night, when I was about to go to sleep, I suddenly heard an explosion of bomb. I watched out from the window and saw that heavy smog rise from a factory near my home. Then flames leap out. My father realized that it was an explosion and then caused a fire. He called 119 and 120 immediately. At the same time, my neighborhoods looked out from balconies and windows. They made phone calls, telling others what happened, or discussed with others. After a while, several fire engines and ambulances arrived. They immediately starting to put out the fire and rescue the trapped people. About half an hour later, the fire was put out, two people injured and no people died. It was lucky. However, it reminds us that we should focus on preventing fire carefully in daily life. A slightest mistake may cause serious consequences.
某天晚上，我正準備去睡覺，突然聽見一聲爆炸聲。我從窗口看去，看見離我家附近的一家工廠上升起了濃濃的煙霧，還躥出火苗。我爸爸意識到那是爆炸并且引起了火災，他馬上打了119報火警和120急救。與此同時，我的鄰居們也從陽臺和窗口看去，他們打電話，告訴他人所發(fā)生的事，或者相互間議論。過了一會兒，幾輛消防車和急救車到達現(xiàn)場。他們馬上投入到滅火工作中，解救被困人員。大約半個小時之后，火被撲滅了，幸運的是，只有兩個人受傷，沒有人死亡。但是，這也提醒我們在日常生活中要時刻注意小心防火，一個細微的錯誤就有可能帶來嚴重的后果。
