　　Being online is no longer something new or fresh in our life. To some extent, it has become part of our daily life. We can do a lot of things online, such as searching for information and communicating with friends far away. But recently another helpful online activity has become very "in". That is online education.

　　Why could online education be so popular within such a short period of time? Among other reasons, the quick development of the Internet should be an essential one, which makes all our dreams of attending class in the distance possible. Another underlying reason is the quick development of both society and technology. Today, modern science and technology is developing with fantastic speed. To catch up with this development we all feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However, due to the great pace of modern society, many people are too busy to study full time at school. Online education just comes to their aid.

　　Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. It's indeed a helpful complement to the traditional educational means. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. 　　Need A Master Degree or Not

　　Nowadays, most people want to enter graduate school. In fact, this desire has grown considerably in the past few years. Students struggle to pass the graduate school entrance exam, to survive the pro-gram, and find a job at the end of it. They read many exam preparation books. They may also attend special "exam preparation" seminars and courses. There are some reasons for such phenomenon.

　　First is the general perception that a graduate school diploma, a master's degree, is needed for getting a better job. Second is that some students might not be sure what they want to do, and a few more years inside the courtyards of academic seems desirable.

　　In my opinion, this is not reasonable. I don't deny that a few passed and went on, but the majority failed and finally wiped away their valuable times. So we don't have to study for the mas-ter degree. Never forget the old saying: every road leads to Rome!

　　Nowadays a growing number of people, especiallythe 20s or 30s, tend to stay indoors for most of their spare time, especially on holidays. Somespend the majority of the time online chatting, blogging, shopping, dating or playing computergames. Some sit with their eyes glued to the television screen, day and night.

　　People's opinions vary when it comes to this way of killing time. A great number of peoplemaintain that staying indoors is cheap, comfortable, and most importantly, very safe. Others,however, frown upon staying indoors for too long. They are worried that lack of physicalexercise and face-to-face communication with others will do harm to people's body and mind.

　　Personally, I don't think staying indoors for most of the day should be advocated. Instead,people in all ages, their physical conditions permitting, should be encouraged to spend moretime outdoors. The brilliant sunshine, the pleasant green space, the interactions with otherpeople, etc. are all good for people's health, both physically and psychologically.
