Before I went to high school, I lived with my parents all the time, so I don’t have much idea about home. In my opinion, home was the place for me to live in. But when I went to the boarding school, I had to leave my home and live in the school. This was the first time for me to be far away from home. I missed home all the time, the longer time for I left, the more I missed my families. When I had the holiday, I rushed to home, I couldn’t wait to see my families. Now, I get the meaning of home, it is not just a place for me to live in, it is also my safe place. No matter where I go, or what kind of difficulty I meet, my family supports me all the time.

I live in a small country. There is only one road leading to my hometown. It’s not easy for us to go outside. My home is near a small river. In the summer, there are fishes in it. My home is a two-floor building with six rooms and two living halls. It’s very clean and neat, because my mom always cleans it up. My parents and I live in the second floor. The first floor is for kitchen and dining room. In the summer night, the roof is my favorite place. It’s cool and I can see the moon and stars. I hear that there is no such a good place in the city.

Every weekday morning my father will go to work and goes back in the late afternoon. And my mother will get up early to cook for us and then pick me up to school. Then sometimes she will do some cleaning and sometimes she will do something she likes. She will pick me up after school and then cook the dinner. After dinner, my parents will teach me to finish my homework and then we will watch TV together. At weekend, usually we will go out for family activity. I love my family.
