It was a very busy evening. I was doing my homework at my home. My father was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in Shanghai opera. She was watching a Shanghai opera contest. The apartment was very quiet. Suddenly the light went out. It was a blackout, but I liked it very much. It came and I didn’t have to do my homework. We went to the living room very slowly. After 5 minutes, we all sat in the sofa. It was a lucky, fortunate day. I said that let’s held a concert. My parents agreed with me. I took out some candles and lighted up. We were singing, laughing and talking. We had a really good time. But while I was singing, the light suddenly turned on. Oh, my God. My father went back to his room went on writing. My mother turned on the TV and said to me “Dear, do your homework!” I felt very frustrated. I sat at the desk and thought I hated light. I hoped there would be a blackout the next day. I thought I would enjoy myself more and more. I went into a dream……
今晚真是個忙碌的晚上。我正在家里寫作業，我爸爸正在書房里寫作文。我媽媽對上海歌劇感興趣。她正在看上海歌劇比賽。公寓非常安靜。突然間斷電了。一切都黑麻麻的，但是我很喜歡。斷電了，我就可以不用寫作業了。我們慢慢的走向起居室。五分鐘后，我們都坐在沙發上。這是一個既幸運又倒霉的一天。我說讓我們開個音樂會。 我父母都同意了。我拿出一些蠟燭并點燃它們。我們唱歌，大笑，聊天。我們都玩得很開心但是當我在唱歌時，燈突然亮了。哦，我的上帝啊。我爸爸繼續回房間寫作文。我媽媽開著電視并對我說“親愛的，去寫作業!”我覺得很沮喪。我坐在桌子邊，想我恨燈光。我希望第二天還能夠斷電。我覺得我會越來越開心的。我陷入了夢境…………
關于我的寒假生活英語作文
During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.
But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.
That’s all, all my dull, coldly and snowy winter vacation.
在寒假期間，我的生活沒有什么不同。我每天早上十一點起床，洗了一次，我和父母一起吃了一頓好的午餐。下一步我玩電腦游戲，直到吃晚飯的時候。晚餐后。我一直玩到凌晨二點，然后就去睡覺了。這是我寒假的一天。

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or rebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an entirely newlook. Motorcycles or even private cars are not luxuries any more.
One of the villagers proudly told me that he and some other villagers were going to join a tour and travel abroad. Previously, the villagers were busy in their farm work all the year round, but now they have much more time and money to relax or entertain. Traveling has become a new trend among villagers. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.
寒假期間，因為春節和其他原因我很開心。假期期間，我父母和我回到河北的鄉下老家。我已經好幾年沒回去了，所以看到過去這些年這座小村莊發生的巨大變化我感到很驚訝。幾乎村里的每一戶人家都有彩電，有的還有了電腦。很多家庭都有了新建的或重建的房子。以前，老式瓦房隨處可見，但是現在它們看上去完全是一幅新的景象。摩托車或者甚至是私家車也已不再是奢侈品了。
一位村民驕傲地告訴我他和其他一些村民跟團出國旅游了。以前，村民們一整年都忙于農活，但是現在它們有更多時間和錢去放松娛樂。旅游已經成為在村民當中已經成為一種新潮流了。看到這些驚人的變化，我爸爸說他一退休就想回到家鄉。而我也強烈支持他的觀點。
