Last weekend, father got a notice that a university will be established near my community. I can’t agree more after a little time thinking. After looking first at the advantages and then at the disadvantages to the local people’s life in terms of library, the restaurant, the student cost, this essay will show that I do support the university being built in my community.
On the one hand, there are three main advantages to local people’s lives of the university being built in my community. The first advantage is that there will be a library. All around the world, the universities can’t be built without a least a library. The second advantage is the new restaurant. Wherever there is a university a lot of restaurants are built which can get much from the students. The last advantage is the student-costs. The students need to resume a lot of objects, which can push the development of local economic.
One the other hand, there are three main disadvantages to local people’s lives. The first disadvantage is that the library may only open for the students. The local people may be not able to get the permission to the library, which means it is no use for the local people. The second disadvantage is the restaurants may pollute the environment. The restaurants produce a lot of trash everyday and the trash will have bad smells if they are stored too long. The last disadvantage is the student
may make big noisy which influent the local people. As a university student, the students need to participate in many activities, which can’t avoid to make big noisy.
In my opinion, the advantages of the university are greater than the advantages and so I do not support its building. Though the library may only open for the students, it also encourages people to study meanwhile. The restaurants may pollute the environment; however, it won’t happen if there were some reasonable rules to limit the restaurants. And the last, comparing with the profit the students bring, the noisy is only a small matter. After all, noisy is really easy to solve now.
