英語邀請函格式范文

Dear Mr. Williams,
Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results. I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief. I did much better than I thought I would.
We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find "real people" as well as teenagers to talk to.
The party starts at half past six- drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that you've given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives.
There is a good train back to San Palo at 10:30 and we'll arrange transport for you to catch that. I hope that won't be too late for you. It would be a pity if you had to leave while the party was still in full swing.
I do hope that you will be able to come.

英語邀請函寫作方法
邀請信是邀請親朋好友或知名人士、專家等參加某項活
動時所發(fā)的約請性書信。在國際交往以及日常的各種社交活
動中，這類書信使用廣泛。
邀請信分為兩種：一種是正規(guī)的格式 (formal correspondence)，也叫做請柬;一種是非正規(guī)格式(informal correspondence)，就是一般的邀請信。
請柬通常有固定的格式，應(yīng)注意文字排列精心設(shè)計，一般以一個或兩個完整的意群為一行。一般用第三人稱形式寫作。
請?zhí)腥N格式：
1. X invites you to a reception (party, etc.)at (place) on (date) at
(time).
2. You are warmly (cordially) invited to attend a reception
(party, etc.) at (place) on (date) at (time).
3. X requests the pleasure of your company (the company of
Mr.Y) at a reception (dinner, etc.) at (place) on (date) at
(time).
在這三種格式中，最后一種比較正式，其他兩種比較隨便。除了上述基本內(nèi)容外，在請柬右下角一般還附有其他說明：一種是寫R.S.V.P.(請答復(fù))，再寫電話號碼;或?qū)慒or Regrets Only,意思是：如不能參加，請回話(反過來說，如能參加可不必答復(fù))。一種是注明需要穿哪類服裝，如果寫Dress Informal, Dress Optional，意思是衣著隨便;一般場合可不加注，或注Lounge Suit/ Day dress;正式場合注Black tie.
邀請信作為信的一種形式可參照一般書信的格式去寫。但要掌握好下列幾點(diǎn)：
1) 說明邀請對方參加什么活動、邀請的原因是什么。
2) 將活動安排的細(xì)節(jié)及注意事項告訴對方。諸如時間、地點(diǎn)、
參加人員、人數(shù)，做些什么樣的準(zhǔn)備及所穿的服飾等。
3) 為了方便安排活動，如有必要，可注明請對方予以回復(fù)看看
能否應(yīng)邀及還有哪些要求等。
